HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE? At my home shop in Asheville I charge a minimum of $200 for the first hour and $120-$180 sliding scale for every subsequent hour ($150-$200 when traveling). When traveling I charge a minimum of $200 and $150-$200 for every subsequent hour. In some cases I may charge additional for more difficult placements (ex: somewhere that requires me to stand bent over for the duration), which we would discuss prior to tattooing.
Generally my tattoos take 1-3 hours, but can take longer depending on the size, placement and design. On the day of your appointment, I will give you an estimated time of how long your tattoo will take, based on the decisions we make for size and placement. If we go over this time, I will only charge for the time estimated. If you are working within a budget, let me know ahead of time and we can discuss options for staying within that budget.
CUSTOMS
I charge a non-refundable flat rate of $50 for draw time of custom designs. Once I have sent your design, we can make minor changes up to 3 times. If you are still not satisfied with your design, we will discuss if it still feels like a good match to work together and if so, each redraw will be an additional $50.
DEPOSITS
Appointments require a $50 non-refundable deposit that go toward the final cost of your tattoo and is paid when you choose your design. If you need to re-schedule, I will transfer your deposit to the new date as long as it is within two weeks of the original date (please note, this may not be possible when I am traveling).
PAYMENT
At the conclusion of your appointment you may pay by cash, venmo or cashapp.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes! I’m happy to offer interest-free payment plans. Please let me know ahead of your appointment if you would like this option.
DO YOU ACCEPT TIPS AND IS IT REQUIRED?
I absolutely accept tips but they are certainly not required. If you enjoyed your time with me and would like to offer a monetary tip, this helps make it possible for me to discount my rate for other clients who do not have the same means. it also helps me to take time off, make it through slow seasons with more ease, and pay for healthcare + bodywork. If you do NOT have the means to tip, please do not feel obligated to!
Other forms of tipping that I cherish (if you are inclined): handmade gifts + objects homemade food treats and coffee flowers / house plants / cuttings books (your favorites, books you’ve written, appalachian lit or anything from my goodreads wishlist) etcetera (i am always excited by the infinite ways appreciation can be expressed <3 )
